Director Michał Borczuch and the author of the dramaturgy and screenplay Joanna Bednarczyk combine ancient mythology, and more precisely “Metamorphoses” by Ovid with improvisations created during the rehearsals of the performance, in which young people selected through castings take part. Tales of growing up in the contemporary world full of temptations and barriers meet the stories of Narcissus, Phaeton, Proserpina, and Ceres. We imperceptibly discover how much they have in common. All this in a surprisingly light and unpretentious performance, fuelled by the energy of young performers as well as the agility, strength and sense of humour of actors from Warsaw and Bydgoszcz.
