The director, who thanks to the films “The Tower. A Bright Day”and “Monument”, is considered to be one of the most original voices in Polish cinema in recent years, makes her debut on the theatre stage. Inspired by the works of Franz Kafka, primarily the short story “In the Penal Colony”, she conducts an experiment both on the main character of the performance played by Sara Celler-Jezierska, and on the audience. The machine works every day, even if it is broken, it works flawlessly. It illuminates with sound, it drills into the brain, it perverts people. There is no escape from it. Jagoda Szelc's experiment, created in close cooperation with the actors of the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz, is a completely new thing on Polish stages. You need to experience it yourself.
