The main protagonist of the drama, Tolia, collects used matches. In the park, he meets Psiara [Dog Lady] – an elderly, polite, and religious woman who reacts aggressively to any kind of otherness. The conflict between Tolia – the myth-teller and bearer of secret knowledge about the world – and Psiara – a quarrelsome representative and defender of public opinion, who accuses Tolia of littering and throwing matches everywhere – ends in tragedy. The protagonists of this nonlinear play seek the meaning of existence, reflect on the paradox of life and death, philosophize about “lucid dreams”, analyse their desires, inner states and loneliness. In short: they conduct important conversations during cigarette breaks.
