In Katarzyna Kalwat's career “Purification” is not the first artistic event, bordering on theatre and music. In the famous “Rechnitz. Opera – The Exterminating Angel”, the shocking text accompanied Wojtek Blecharz's music like words in operatic arias. This time, actress Iwona Budner takes the stage with a music band led by Andrzej Bauer. The co-creator of the project is Agata Zubel, one of the most outstanding contemporary Polish composers. What does such an unusual encounter between theatre and music bring, and what is the result of the tension between these two spheres?
